Helping Secure the Nation

Our expertise and world-class security solutions play an important role in helping the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) meet its mission of ensuring that the nation is safe, secure and resilient against terrorism and other hazards.

Improving Border Security

Sentrillion has partnered with United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for more than 15 years. Our DHS-certified and accredited physical security solutions provide frontline security along the U.S. northern and southern land ports of entry, as well as seaports and airports, and integrate on local, regional and national levels.

We have also partnered with the CBP to develop new solutions that maximize efficiency and security while cutting costs. For example, we have engineered and implemented templates that standardize security technology and processes for different types of security situations.

We have also developed and deployed a system that uses biometric verification to enable U.S. citizens who are trusted travelers to legally cross the border without requiring a CBP officer to be physically present. Officers at the Central Areas Surveillance Center utilize voice and facial recognition from audio and video surveillance systems, as well as biometric fingerprint readers, to verify the identity of citizens and grant them access.

Other Homeland Security Solutions

Sentrillion also provides services to other Homeland Security agencies. Our solutions protect DHS’s National Biodefense Analysis and Countermeasures Center, located at Fort Detrick, Maryland, and our physical security solutions are applicable for other agencies, such as the Transportation Security Administration.

In addition, our telecommunications services can facilitate and improve emergency wireless communications for the Border Patrol, first responders or law enforcement agencies in difficult-to-reach locations.

Sentrillion’s integrated security solutions act as a force multiplier.
